process over product. the journey over the destination. to me, everyday objects hold an immense power of the stories behind them. an unevenly stamped date on a postcard. the white bottom border of a polaroid picture. the scalloped edging of a little girl's dress. with every project, i ask, "what are the qualities of an object that carry it's stories? it's power?" in each project i create, i start from here. what better way to add to someone's personal history then to create a design that holds this timelessness.
in my life, i am a wife, a mother, a designer. i cannot be any of these things without being a woman first. these projects are a part of me and my stories...
